About AmesFUG

AmesFUG, the Ames Free Unix Group , was founded in 1998 in Ames, Iowa.

AmesFUG works to promote and aid the Ames community in using the many varieties of free Unix-like operating systems such as

Participate in AmesFUG Activities!

AmesFUG holds weekly meetings Wednesdays at 7pm. Those meetings have been bouncing between the Molecular Biology Building on the campus of ISU and other off-campus venues. See the wiki meeting page for more info. AmesFUG also hosts a collection of email lists. Both are open to anyone interested in such software. See the faq for more details.
